Two college students within the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing developed a “Variety Toolbox” to advertise inclusion and to foster a deeper understanding of points like racial bias.
Jessica Weiss and Payne Colton gathered a wide range of sources for the mission, together with video interviews with college students who’ve disabilities, e book and film suggestions, artwork, a dialogue board and an area for suggestions. It is a self-paced “residing useful resource” that can broaden to incorporate in-person occasions post-COVID.

Colton graduated in December and simply began a residency on the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. He is happy with his work on the toolbox final semester and glad his classmates are benefiting from the course.
