PONCHATOULA, La. (AP) — For the second 12 months in a row, the coronavirus pandemic has canceled a well-liked spring pageant in Louisiana.
Organizers say the Ponchatoula Strawberry Pageant can’t be held April 9/11 due to pandemic restrictions, information businesses reported Wednesday.
The farmer’s public sale and the queen’s pageant will nonetheless be held, organizers stated.
Subsequent 12 months would be the pageant’s fiftieth anniversary. Organizers say that pageant continues to be on the calendar.
